Wow, it felt like my arms were cut off while blogger was down! Amazing how one gets so used to always having technology available. Anyway, what I wanted to show you was another scrapbook page I made, this time of a stunning photo of my son-in-law and grandson, at my grandson's first day of school this year. The proverb goes ... "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" is so true here! I used the following:
Paper: Fabscraps ('blue diamond') as the background; Paper Explosion (Queen of Hearts); and lots of other bits from my stash.
Gold ribbon
Gold felt tip pen to outline the photo
Slice die (Noteworthy) to cut the letters
Clear rubber stamp for the swirl (sorry can't remember name).
Brown chalk to distress all edges.
