"Granny's 4th degree"

Well, it wasn't quite what was "I" was expecting (a pun here somewhere I think) 2 months after their marriage, but my daughter is now 5 weeks pregnant! So, grandchild number 4, you are more than welcome in my home. Giggle .... I am going to have to find a rich husband somewhere, and soon. You see, I have three computers set up, one for each of the current 3 grandchildren. My youngest (just turned 2, has just mastered the mouse movements, so she now wants to play all the games like her sister and brother (who of course are faaaaaar more advanced and don't have time to play little Disney games with her). With another grandchild to teach when he/she is about 1 year old, I am going to need another pc aren't I?

Mmmmm, boy or girl? Any takers?

Sunbird digi

This is the second digi I drew and tested out. I'm not 100% happy with the image, so will probably be redoing it a little. Nestabilities circle cutout, coloured with COPICS and water-colour pencils, paper, ribbon, and flowers from stash. The card in real life still looks nice though!

Juvenile Sunbird digi

Goodness it's a month since I last posted, and one month of 2011 has already flown by! So, my blog background has changed (isn't it cute?), and I've done a little digistamp designing again. Before I put it out for sale though I always like to 'test' the image so here is my 'juvenile sunbirds' image made up. I used COPICS and gel pens to colour them in, silver gems for the eyes, glitter yellow and shiny grey paper from my stash, and a little peel-off word. Somehow the flash has burnt out the colour of the flowers and the grey leaf stem (cut with a Martha Stewart punch), but the card still looks ok. Funny little creatures - they look real sad with the down-turned white edges around their mouths.
