A digistamp I drew for Digistamps4Joy as a freebie for April - so go and grab it quickly! I love bling, so really went mad on this one! As I am busy re-decorating my lounge, including a new chocolate-brown lounge suite and curtains, I had some gold ribbon over from the scatter cushions I made, and used it here. The egg was coloured in with Copics, then I covered most of it with various glitter glues and gems. The embossed paper was from my stash.

Baseball digi
CDAC has opened a new digistamp drawing challenge - "masculine images". Probably not the easiest category, but certainly one where I often battle to find digis for the men in our lives. So here's my first contribution, a little bit of playing with the word baseball. Hope you like it! And, as I often struggle to find a digistamp that fits a DL sized card nicely, this one works a treat!

3rd Place win
That's twice this month! My first 3rd place win was for the card made for the Patti's Creations Design Challenge #18. That cheers me up considerably after all of 'life's hassles I've had to deal with this month! I won 3rd place with this card on the Card Making Downloads page. I made a side-stepper invitation card 'with a difference'. I used the super set of "A Pirates Life For Me ClipArt Graphic Collection" from Raggedy Scrappin from the CMD site, added the invitation text in the banner, and some lines for writing the party details on the second step. All images were raised with foam pads. The name of the person can be added onto the white flags.

Wedding Guest book
Something a little different from card making again. My sister-in-law is getting married and asked me to make her a wedding guestbook - so always open to a challenge, I dove in. Here are the results.
Closed book with patterned acetate cover.
Closed book showing front cover.
1st page (inside of cover)
2nd page with 9 individual tags that can be swung out and written on. The angel with trumpet was cut on a Cricut by my sister.
3rd page. I cut flower shapes out of clear vellum with my new SLICE machine, then edged them with gold chalk. The silver swirls were cut out of the base of an aluminium dish!
4th page. 6 small flap-over notelets edged with MS punch.
5th page. I didn't have the heart to cover this gorgeous paper with the wedding dress, so added a small pink SLICE cut tab to the right.
6th page. SLICE cut gold frame over green vellum, with additional wedding stickers.
7th page. 6 little pockets with pullout tags, copper ribbons.
Last page with 1 large sheet for writing on.
Then, as I could not find a box to match, I made one!
